Carbon Trust
Government sponsored help
for organizations to meet their energy needs
The Carbon Trust
provides site visits, telephone advice, publications and online information dependent
on your needs, the size of your energy bill, and the savings potential. The program sets out to help you make the right choices to meet your needs,
by providing focused advice based on four principles of good management:
- Analyze
the problem and issues
- Set
out a clear Plan of action
- Provide
the right Framework of management policies, systems and staff
- Then
Implement the Solutions
The Carbon Trust
provides several survey options to meet the needs of your operation to help change your organization's climate so that
savings are delivered and maintained:
Providing the annual fuel bills for your site are more than £50,000 you may be eligible for a free site visit and written report which looks at overall energy and carbon use and what
needs to be done, particularly in terms of management and basic energy services.
This visit and its length will depend on the size of the organization's energy
bill and evidence of commitment to take action. A post survey briefing can be carried out to allow key personnel to be involved in the process of agreeing the next steps and actioning them.
Further help is available to sites which have already received some basic advice and support is also available to assist with implementation.
